Final Results and Apologies to everyone

December 16, 2014 by rgtadmin

Greetings, everyone.   First of all, thank you for a great event.    We had an immense amount of fun putting on the Renegade, and we hope in the end, that you did as well.  There are many moving parts for an event of this size, and mistakes will happen.  We can only learn from these and make our event better for all next year.

Second, we owe everyone an apology.   One Day One, there was a mistake with our scoring software, which provided us incorrect data in choosing our Top 16.   Many of you attempted to help, and we greatly appreciate your efforts.  However, this was our event, and ultimately, we had to be the ones to fix the issue.  Here are the actual results from Day One.  They include the correct Top 16 that should have played a fourth game.

In the end, we had to make a decision in order to move the day along, and we upset several players.  We take full responsibility for our actions, and will take steps to ensure that a mistake like that will not occur again.

Third, we again owe an apology for not posting our results right away!  Another data issue, this one involving the computer our results were on, caused it to crash.   Fortunately, we had hard copies of all results, especially for Day 2, that we were able to recreate the scores. However, we could not locate all of our Paint Scores, and rather than post some paint, we chose to not include paint in our Final Results.  We know that many of you were interested in how you did, but the data was unrecoverable.

Here are the Final Results from Day Two that we announced before we closed out this year.  Congratulations to all who won!
