Registration Opens TONIGHT!

Greetings, everyone!   We are excited to announce that in a few hours, the Renegade will be ‘Open’ for business (see what we did there?).  We will be heading into our Sixth year, and we can’t wait. We have old favorites, and new events galore.  We will be at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West Hotel again this year, and we will now be a THREE DAY EVENT!   Formally, we were only open on Friday Afternoon and Night.  Now, we are open all day Friday.

We have, for your gaming pleasure:

  • Multiple events for Games Workshop, Bolt Action, Malifaux, Armada, Batman Miniatures, and Warmachine!
  • Kings of War and Bolt Action have expanded!
  • Horus Heresy has events ALL Day, in different formats
  • We have added a Two-Player 40k Team Tournament on Friday, and a 40k Friendly on Sunday!
  • Don’t forget Hobby Classes and our Vendor Hall

SO MUCH going on this year …. We keep growing, and we love it.

Important information about the Spring CONflagration

SPRINGCON is less than a week away, and here is some important information about it.

MN State Fairgrounds Grandstand
1265 Snelling Ave, St Paul, MN 55108
 
The AOS and 40k GT are on the SECOND FLOOR of the Grandstand
 
+ + + + + Where should I park? + + + + +
 
There is a TON of FREE parking! Available parking is well-marked throughout the MN State Fairgrounds. On-street parking fills up fast but there are 2 huge lots practically on top of the Grandstand: Southwest of the Grandstand, north of the Coliseum (where the Midway usually is at the Fair) The new Fox Lot, where Heritage Square used to stand (northwest of the Grandstand) It’s always a good idea to have a back-up parking spot in mind, just in case “Plan A” is full when you arrive. YES! Smokey Joe’s will, once again, provide their outstanding board of fare for Fall ComiCon attendees! Located just outside the Education Building, a few steps west of the main entrance, you’ll have no trouble finding them…just follow your nose! You’ll find fresh-grilled goodies, salads, and ice cold drinks! Picnic tables are available for convenient seating outside and we’ll have benches just inside the entrance if the weather turns.
 
NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
 
No Smoking
 
No smoking is allowed at any Convention event at any time or in any location. You are welcome to step outside to smoke in designated smoking areas, but please be considerate of others when you do. This policy is in place not only for the comfort of attendees but also to comply with city ordinances prohibiting smoking at public events. Please comply with this policy; noncompliance may result in being ejected from the convention.

YES! There will be an ATM machine available at the Main Entrance.
 
Dress in Layers, Bring an Umbrella – It’s May in Minnesota! Will it rain? Maybe. Will it be tropical jungle heat and humidity? Maybe.
