Renegade Open 2019 Registration

To participate in Renegade Open events & Tournaments, a Renegade Open registration & badge is required.

Registration to the event comes in 2 forms:

3 Day Weekend Badge – $35
- Access to the convention, the ability to participate in events and tournaments, and the ability to participate in the painting competition.
1 Day, Daily Badge – $15
- Purchased for any one day of the convention, this badge allows access to the convention and the ability to participate in events and tournaments for that day only.

Warhammer 40,000 Friendly Tournament

Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop wargame set in the distant future, where the Imperium of Man is beset by hostile aliens and malevolent supernatural creatures. Man, Aliens, and monster from the warp wield futuristic weaponry and magical powers in this grim, dark universe.

Force construction:

● Armies will consist of 1500 points or less.
● This Detachment Awards +5 Command Points (CP).
● Armies will be BATTLE FORGED and use the RETRO FORCE ORG CHART:
o 1 Detachment of the following Choices:
o 1-2 HQ Choices
o 2-6 TROOP Choices
o 0-3 ELITE Choices
o 0-3 FAST ATTACK Choices
o 0-3 HEAVY SUPPORT Choices
o 0-1 FLYER Choices
o DEDICATED TRANSPORTS taken as normal per 8th Ed Rule Set.
o 0-1 UNIQUE CHARACTER per army.
● Forgeworld/Imperial Armour units and armies will NOT be allowed for this tournament.
● You must use the most current version of the rules for your army and HAVE THE BOOK(s) Present with you, no exceptions (this is to ensure there is no miscommunication between you and your opponent). An Electronic Copy is just fine to have.
● Game length is set to 5 Battle Rounds. Do not roll for additional turns.
● Rounds are set to 2 Hours & 30 Minutes

Batman Miniature Game – Dynamic Duos II

The Batman Miniatures Game by Knight Models is a small skirmish game which seeks to lovingly translate the universe of street level DC comics heroes and villains to the tabletop.

The iconic Dynamic Duos, now over two years old, is receiving an update. Stay tuned to discover more about what changes will happen!

The Dork Knight II is a 200rep/$1000 event.

Malifaux – Sunday Casual

Not enough card flipping chaos at Renegade 2019? Sunday November 24^th will mark our second event at Renegade for Malifaux M3E. Join us Sunday for an off color, Joker-laden jamboree. Depending on turn out, ONE of the following events will delve into the realm of Malifaux for a mish-mash of deception, destruction, and dark powers.

11 participants or less: Enforcer Brawl!

All players. One table. Madness! Enforcer level models only. In house Enforcer Brawl rules will be used, namely deployment, and the use of Schemes. Every model entered into the game will automatically be inducted into a pregame painting competition, to which that model will receive a 2VP headstart, as well as an additional prize. You’ll need eyes in the back of your head to survive this dark world dust-up.

12+ participants: 40ss henchman-led Malifaux

A Henchman led brawl of classic M3E Malifaux. Strategies? Yes. Schemes? Yes. Zombies? Maybe.

All rules that entail a usually larger game are valid for this event, save for hiring masters. Have your fate deck, stat cards (Dead Man’s Hand friendly), measuring tool, and distinct tracking tokens at the ready. A painting competition will be involved, using one single model to present to the judge. The theme to the painting competition will be: Savage. Take that however you will.

Round 1 will begin at 11am, Sunday November 24^th, and we will do 2 hour time limits, breaking for lunch after round 1.
